The first Afghan female motorcycle instructor in the world.

Leili Khodaei is an Iranian filmmaker who created a short documentary for the VPRO Tegenlicht theme Rebranding Migration. She is originally from Tabriz, Iran. Leili earned a degree in mathematics and physics in Iran before pursuing Persian literature at university. In addition to filmmaking, she has authored several books and poetry collections, which have been published in various countries, including Iran and Azerbaijan.

In her documentary, Leili follows Seweta, the world's first female Afghan motorcycle instructor. The film was made in collaboration with the Buddy Film Foundation, an organization that supports refugee filmmakers, actors, and other creatives in starting their film careers in the Netherlands.
